When you book with E I L E A N you will have read,

understood, & accepted our full

terms and conditions.

PRIVATE EXPERIENCES:

 The rate is for the experience and includes:

  • Planning, including ferry service fees.

  • Up to 9 hour working day beginning between 0800 & 0900hrs, ending around 1700 & 1800hrs.

  • Vehicle & associated costs, including Public Liability & Hire Reward Insurances.

  • Professional Experience Host & their appropriate accommodation.

  • Taxes including VAT at 20%.

  • Fully prepared vehicle.

  • bottled water.

  • professional door to door service.

  • Airport meet & greets from Edinburgh or Glasgow.

BOOKINGS:

All bookings must be secured well in advance to ensure ferry and accommodation availability and avoid dissapointments.

CLIENT ACCOMMODATIONS:

Accommodation falls to the responsibility of the client. E I L E A N, will provide information and reccomendations that are suitable for the chosen experience.

CURRENCY:

​All quotes and transactions are in £ GBP.

AIRPORT PARKING CHARGES:

​Parking charges are an additional cost to any quoted transfer, with any unforeseen delays or extended waiting cost being added to client invoice.

ENTRANCE FEES:

Entrance to paid venues or attractions etc. are not included in the rate your experience fee and are payable by the client upon arrival.

FERRY SERVICES:

​Any sailing costs to the islands are subject to change due to weather or technical issues. The standard fees are included in the rate of your experience fee. E I L E A N can not take any responsibility for cancelled, missed or any personal affects in association to any ferry service.

INSURANCE:

E I L E A N strongly recommends that clients arrange for themselves suitable travel, medical, and cancellation insurance.

DEPOSIT:

All deposits are non-refundable. A non refundable 20% deposit will be taken to secure your experience dates, if full payment is not secured upfront and payments are staggered. If full payment is made up front a 20% retainer will be non refundable, acting as a deposit. The deposit covers around 8 hours of work to prepare your experience and all associated set up costs. The cost of the deposit will be deducted from the final balance.

FINAL BALANCE:

​Final balance is payable no less than one month prior to travel on all advanced bookings.

PAYMENT METHODS:

  • Bank Transfer (Bacs)

  • IBAN/OBAN Transfers

  • Zettle secure link payment. Operated by PayPal.

OVERSEAS PAYMENTS:

​May attract bank charges (these are approx. £7-£10 from European countries & £10- £15 from Non European countries) which must be met by the client.

EXPERIENCES: 

​A daily allowance to cover the guides accommodation and evening meal will be covered by the client. This cost will be written into the quote alongside the rate.

OVERTIME & EXPENSES:

To be negotiated prior to the start date of the tour.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

  • Cancellation 1 month or more prior to secured travel date will result in 75% refund of full fee.

  • Cancellation over 15 days but less than 1 month prior to travel date will result in 50% refund.

  • Cancellation within 15 days prior to travel date will result in no refund.

 LUGGAGE POLICY:

  • Luggage is conveyed at the owners’ own risk.

  • Clients are limited to one medium to large sized suitcase per person.

  • Any additional luggage not declared during the booking process will only taken at the drivers discretion.

AGE RESTRICTION POLICY:

E I L E A N experiences require a minimum of 18 years old at time of travel and is an adult only service provider.

LIABILITY:

  • E I L E A N cannot accept liability for losses or additional expenses incurred due to delays or change in transportation (air, rail, sea or other services), technical problems to transport, sickness, disease, weather, industrial action, or other causes which are out with our control.

  • Should E I L E A N have to cancel your booking for unforeseen reasons any monies already received will be refunded in full.

  • E I L E A N will not accept liability for any expenses over and above this.

  • In the event of the Host allocated to you becoming unavailable we will find you a suitable professional Host to accompany you.

ACCESS:

Due to the nature of our experiences and routes, regrettably wheel chair acces is not viable. All participating clients must be of good physical ability.

PETS:

Regrettably no pets are permitted on any of our experiences. This includes guidance dogs or any form of emotional support animals. This is due to the nature of the vehicle hire, limited accommodation availability in remote places and allergies.
